About James
In July 2000, James recognized an opportunity after 25 years of computer industry expertise and founded WiebeTech. Previously, James founded and was the President and CEO of Newer Technology. James led the company to annual sales over $60 million and attained a leading position as provider of computer upgrades. James is an experienced pilot who loves to fly. The most exciting flights are to the Idaho back country where he and his buddies enjoy fly fishing, another one of his passions. James appeared in and enabled a MythBusters episode: “Duct Tape Plane,” where James flew an aircraft with duct tape repairs. James received his degree in Mathematics with emphasis in Computer Science from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas.
